The beauty of water lilies at dawn

That day, we went along Trang An Avenue near Tam Coc Ninh Binh. Boats moored close to the wharf. A boatman said there are about 1,500 boats here. During the peak tourist season, usually after the Lunar New Year or summer, the boats operate at full capacity. But the season is empty, sometimes each boat has a new turn every month.

There have been many tourists coming to Trang An near Tam Coc Ninh Binh in the high season, having to jostle to get off the boat or wait forever to have to return. There are people who come here in the high water season, there are caves that cannot be passed, so they do not have the opportunity to fully explore the beauty of Trang An. We left early, while the sun was still low. Boats slowly on the river, a poetic cloudy sky, fresh air. On both sides, the mop and water lilies are like a pink carpet on the water, making the scene more romantic. The surrounding limestone mountains make the climate even cooler. Scattered boats of seaweed pickers clean the river every day.

The first stop is Trinh Temple – the place to worship 2 gods of the Dinh Dynasty, Ta Thanh Tru and Huu Thanh Tru. During the reign, they were the two generals overseeing the king’s gold and silver vaults. After visiting Trinh temple, guests get off the boat and start the journey through the caves. Each cave has its own beauty. The caves have many modified stalactites, the water above is scattered. Dark Cave has a wide and narrow cave that changes unexpectedly. Shining cave with iridescent stalactites

The boatman told us that Nau Ruou cave has a groundwater more than 10m deep. Legend has it that the forebears came here to get water to cook wine for the king. We found in the cave there were many ceramic vases, jars, jars… Many caves had stone ceilings so low that we had to crouch close to the boat to avoid hitting the rocks. The second stop is Tran Temple. According to documents, Tran Ninh Binh temple was built by King Dinh Tien Hoang at the same time as Hung temple. After that, King Tran Thai Tong came here to establish Vu Lam palace and continued to improve the surface, so this place was called Tran temple. This is the place to worship Quy Minh, the god of the southern gate of Hoa Lu town near Tam Coc Ninh Binh
