Visitors can also admire bamboo trees up to 70m high, with straight, round trunks. The Muong village is about 16km from Cuc Phuong National Park. The road to the village is quite long and has to go through many steep hills. Visiting the village will be an interesting trip. On the banks of the Buoi River, stilt houses and terraced fields are like wonderful highlights amidst a wild, romantic mountain and forest landscape… Muong ethnic people are gentle, cheerful, and hospitable. Along the banks of the Buoi River, the water is white and foaming, flowing downstream. Tourists are stunned when they hear the clear singing of Muong girls. If you like, visitors go through the old forest with many rocky slopes, climb to the 648m high May Hac peak, about 3km from the center of the national park to conquer the highest peak of Cuc Phuong forest near Tam Coc Ninh Binh.
