Genealogy engraved on crockery, currently the oldest ceramic stele in Tho Ha ancient village. The brief genealogical content shows that the Trinh Xuan family has been present in Tho Ha ancient village for more than 200 years before. Up to now, the Trinh Xuan family has been present in Tho Ha ancient village for nearly 400 years. The ceramic stele of the Trinh Xuan family is the only artifact found in Tho Ha ancient village and perhaps nowhere else can we find ceramic products engraved with the genealogy of the family like in Tho Ha ancient village – Bac Giang. With this unique way of making genealogy of the Trinh Xuan family deserves to be honored and praised.
The crockery ceramic stele features a yellow-brown color, the stele is engraved with a stylized flower image of the word Tho. The stele around is engraved with an asterisk, the heart of the stele is engraved with Chinese characters on one side. This ceramic stele is not only the genealogy of a family but also a unique ceramic product of a traditional craft village marking the prosperous period of Tho Ha ancient villagepottery in Kinh Bac.
The genealogy book inscribed on crockery is a typical example of the sense of family care since ancient times, but still has historical and cultural significance and high educational significance.
