Thich immediately brought the story of the strange dream to his trusted people in the court and they told him that it was an omen that he would become king. The more he thought about it, the more pleased Thich became and believed in his dream of the throne, so he decided to make a plan to kill the king and the crown prince to usurp the throne. During the lavish banquet held at the king’s palace in Hoa Lu near Tam Coc Ninh Binh, Do Thich happily congratulated everyone, constantly drank wine for the guests, and did not forget to silently observe and wait for the right opportunity. The party ended, most of the people present at the party were drunk, including the king, crown prince and prince. Taking advantage of that opportunity, Do Thich easily carried out his plot by putting poison in the nutritious soup and pounding alcohol for Dinh Tien Hoang and Dinh Lien. The king and the crown prince were poisoned by the poison and died soon after. But the king’s dream of the eunuch who liked to fantasize about the myths of the Do family had not yet had a chance to come true, he was captured by Dinh Quoc Cong Nguyen Bac.
After capturing Do Thich, Nguyen Bac ordered his army to cut off his head in Hoa Lu near Tam Coc Ninh Binh, then break the bones and cut the meat and throw it to wild animals.
