Mr. Cap Trong Duong’s house in hamlet 2, Tho Ha ancient village, is over 200 years old, the roof tile has darkened, the ground is still the same as before, the large wooden pillars stand firmly as the test of time. After 7 generations, the house is still quite intact, not much repair.
In the house there are incense burners, altars, incense burners, diaphragms, couplets… especially a wooden calligraphy inlaid with ivory white shells on a very beautiful glossy black wood background, under an ancient altar. Trinh Quang Phong’s house is also one of the most beautiful in Tho Ha ancient village, with nearly 200 years old and has been slightly remodeled such as tile roofs and raised floors to avoid flooding in the rainy season. The wall of the house is built of small earthenware, Tho Ha ancient village pottery pieces should be cool in the summer, warm in the winter. The set of frauds, worshiping collapses, collapsing seats, thieu Chau… are all over a hundred years old, elaborately decorated. Each porch is carved with dragon, phoenix and flower motifs, pine, chrysanthemum, bamboo, apricot..
